MEETING IN LITHUANIA
25-29 April
The last job shadowing meeting was organized in Maišiagala, Lithuania. 6 teachers from Spain, Czech Republic and Slovakia visited The Grand Duke of Lithuania Algirdas gymnasium. CLIL method has been started to use only as a result of this project. In recent years, it used to be only as a way to make curriculum more attractive for pupils or trying to consume wide teaching programmes (in different subjects for different age pupils) so that pupils would have less lessons, so called Interdisciplinary Approach: language teacher together with a subject teacher have a lesson at the same time with the same/similar topic.
During the visit, teachers had an opportunity to observe Geography, Art, History, Music, ICT lessons in secondary graders' lessons. Art, Sience in primary classes and different activities in pre-primary class.
The official project logo (made by Jan Sarquella, 6th grade, Pla de Girona school) was chosen by all participants voting during the project meeting in Maišiagala. Congratulations Jan on winning this logo competition to represent our project!
